This is actually a Malaysian budget airline. It operates scheduled domestic and international flights and is Asia's largest low-fare. Now it expands its business in Thailand as Thai Air Asia. Its main base is in Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and has hubs at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, Thailand and Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia. Flights to London and Paris are also available!
Tips: Air Asia release plenty of great promotions every week. Keep eyes on its website so that you won't miss a single!. The price can be relatively high if you book the flight close to the travel day. Booking online can be sometimes complicated. Be careful about additional charge hidden. You have to pay for checked baggage and picking a seat.

Nok Air
Nok Air can be said to be the low-cost airline of Thai Airways. It operates only domestic flights. Nok Air has two hubs, the main one is at Donmueang Airport, Bangkok, and another one is at Chiang Mai Airport, north of Thailand, which offer flights to nearby cities such as Udon Thani, Mae Hong Son, Pai, and Nan.
This may be a good choice for anyone who want to travel around Thailand because its routes cover more cities in the country than any other airlines.

1-2-GO is operated by Orient Thai Airlines. The airline used to fly out from both Donmueang Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport but is now reduced to only Donmueang Airport. It operates flights to the major cities like Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai.
